The human eye is a remarkably complex organ that receives light from the world around us and transforms it into visual experience through a precise network of nerves and cells. Every moment of looking is the result of an intricate interaction between the eye and the brain.
Second Glance is an exhibition showcasing visual interpretations by Visual Communication students through poster design. For the poster concept, we moved away from the common symbolic image of the eye and instead focused on its real anatomical structure to emphasize the eye as an active and intelligent system that enables the act of seeing.
By highlighting elements such as the cornea, lens, retina, and optic nerve, we aimed to show that looking is not a simple action but a deep and multilayered process. This approach allowed us to create a visually engaging poster that encourages viewers to reflect on the nature of seeing from a more thoughtful perspective.
